for my own videos i decided to just make one whenever i feel like something is missing (handful a year max), and those who want to watch them can. but that's easy for me to say - i always expected to earn $0 from this.

i realized recently that i watch much more "attention bait" videos than deep educational stuff. but this is because my main youtube time is during lunch or when i'm tired. high quality educational videos require my time and attention. not sure what the solution is for people making them.
