If people choose to vote "Independent" to "make a point" in upcoming elections, we are doomed. Make your point by ousting the GOP.

Members of Congress ( #GOP) who oppose gun control shouldn't ask taxpayers to fund their personal protection from people carrying guns.

I hate this kind of story. It reeks of #GOP paranoia. Some poor designer who, like most Americans, couldn't ID a Russian flag if they had to is now getting fired for a simple mistake. Our side #Democrats is better than this. #uspolitics

All for the low, low price of 45 million taxpayer dollars. One way or another, we're paying for it

Trump says protesters will no longer be allowed to wear masks. Just ICE agents. That speaks volumes.

5/22 @aoc.bsky.social: "While you were sleeping, Republicans in Congress stripped 13M ppl of health care; stole food aid from millions of children, seniors:
defunded Planned Parenthood." Support her efforts to inform instead of just complaining about @democrats.org. #uspolitics #moreismore

This undoubtedly would be banned in some areas of the country today, which shows how ridiculous it has become. #booksky

Oh, here's another one! Sounder. We had no African Americans in our school or neighborhood, and the story of their struggles alongside their relationship to the dog was powerful and enlightening. It's probably banned now.

Oh, I remember that one! Affected me, too. The movie Awakenings is similar and just as heartbreaking.

Agreed! I finally read this as an adult and thought, Why is this considered a good book for children?

Sixth-grade drug movies did it for me! Still remember the girl on acid who thought the blue gas flame on the stove was a flower and tried to pick it up.

Audrey Rose. I dropped the book in horror after the last sentence and still can't get the car-fire scene out of my head 40+ years later.

Biden "moved aggressively in its final 18 months to convince more than 200 AI technology experts to forgo the private sector for the federal workforce through what was called the National AI Talent Surge. Most of them were quickly pushed out by the new administration." So, so dumb.
