It happens in real life too doesn't it? The antennae start twitching

I promise you I'm not although depending on plot and career developments it may come to that #TheArchers

Plus if Rochelle can remember where the postcard was from all those years ago that could be a clue. It might be one of those weird details that sticks in the mind #TheArchers

'Where did Joy go that time?' is a question I would love Mick or Rochelle to press her on. And where will she go now? #TheArchers

Now I'm wondering whether Rochelle keeps the kids away from Joy for their own protection

BridgingLoanFarm - very good! #TheArchers

Joy has every reason to adjust the details (self protection) but Rochelle has no reason to make any of this up. What does she gain by doing that? Rochelle's flaky but she doesn't usually lie. Joy has been evasive about Rochelle from the start. There's more to come out as others have said #TheArchers

I liked that little exchange

She said the dog died before Joy's departure. That is one of the many points where their accounts diverge. I am inclined to believe her though. #TheArchers

Well said. The stakes (unusually for #TheArchers) are high

Also if she's starting a new batch of yoghurt and Soosan's starting a new batch of Borsetshire Blue, how's that going to work when there's just one person in the dairy? (Hellun off doing god knows what) #TheArchers

And then talking about 'taking her back on when things pick up…' What? #TheArchers

Joy dissociated because she couldn't deal with her marriage break-up/life back then, ran away, has gone in for selective amnesia ever since. Facing the reality of her abandonment of Rochelle too much of a threat to her ID as a 'nice caring person' so she's minimised 6wk absence #TheArchers

Good point. And I bet she pays herself low-tax dividends through the business

Just looked her up, Clarrie's 72 in May. I hope she is getting state pension (if she paid enough NI contribs through her life - she may not have done). Soosan's only 61 (62 in October) so will have to wait til she's 67 for her pension

'One of you will just have to go'. Great choice of words there, Hellun #TheArchers

There must be something in the air - I was just looking up hiring a steam cleaner so I can clean the grout in my bathroom. #rocknroll I know how to live! #springcleaning

I made new beds by putting cardboard down with compost on top. There's more detail about how/why/where/when if you search for Charles Dowding and the no-dig method. The grass underneath does not grow through

This, a million times. The way cars slow down buses is atrocious. Often it's one person in a car nudging in front of a bus or overtaking, delaying the bus pulling out, slowing down 40 people on board. It gets really tedious on a 30min journey when it happens again and again

I think rich people (I include MPs in that bracket) overestimate what everyone else is doing, and underestimate their own impact on the environment. 53% of Brits didn't fly in 2023. A further 23% flew only once. That's 76% of the population not flying very much. bsky.app/profile/celi...
