I have little confidence that the American people will get it together enough to force a free and fair 2026 midterms.
Of course, we'll be told it was perfect.

That's what got Hegseth the job.

You left out a step: communism can only germinate in a culture which has experienced the catastrophic failure of a grossly-asymmetrical economic system.
The US recently took a sharp turn in that direction.

What about this is so hard for people to understand?
I know, I know - they don't want it to be true, and the rich pay for people to hear and read that it's not true because that's way cheaper than what would happen if people knew the truth.
But it's not only true, it's obvious!

We will not jump on things and pound our chests like apes, or do many of the other things that supposed alphas do when they're upset.
That would be stupid.

Not useful to us. Very useful to his real boss.
There's a shortage of champagne in Moscow these days.

Sorry...uhh...WHAT American sovereignty?
That went away when an unelected rich guy seized the United States, while the people upon whom the citizens held dressers.

No one is more deeply, willfully ignorant than a cult member. They literally get their identity from the leader; so denying or even questioning is the same as death for them.

Nah. It is VERY difficult to protect a compulsive attention slut.

And unless we get people who respond to threats with defiance and optional profanity, the United States will be over - and it will deserve to be.

Of course it does. It's been proven (Dr. Peter Fenwick). I'd recommend meditation training to alleviate the anxiety, and stop beating up your immune system.

It does, if you view 9/11 as "efforts to downsize the World Trade Center."

Credit my youthful reading of Bronze Age literature, but I picked up the idea pretty early on that if the fear of death can keep you from doing right, you have no business as a leader of the people.

Yes. It's a huge deal, and why my wife is getting her passport renewed. The regime would like nothing better than "only white men vote" and this gets them a long way toward that.
comment in response to

To be sure. But be careful about what methods are used. This regime would LOVE to meet violent uprising. Remember Hegseth said he would be willing to use US troops against protesters.
But NOTHING scares them as much as non-violent resistance. They know they can't beat it.
