It tracks, again bracketing the dystopian AI-ism, Zuckerberg doesn't understand "friend" is a nuanced spectrum of possible relationships and not a binary thing like you clicked yes on their friend request, and asking somebody how many friends they have, much less want to have, is near-meaningless.

We're going to be quartering the troops in private houses. We're going to be doing that very strongly, and nobody's done that before and it's a beautiful thing, and such an old-fashioned word, 'quartering,' but we're going to be looking into it and many people have asked for it for a long time

No. It is not the job of ordinary citizens to show perfect message discipline.
It is the responsibility of actors with agenda-setting power — like, say, national newspapers — not to treat random-ass people exaggerating as a threat equivalent to the madman president.
