Why not just drop the surname? Look at Madonna, Cher, Prince, Snoopy All icons in their own right, rolling without a surname

Oh, sigh, another holiday? Well, as long as it's a stat, I'm in.

In the name of love? Collaborate and listen? Or my mom will shoot? Yes, I turn 40 this year, why do you ask?

And below young Tom Sizemore, what looks like a wax museum version of Javier Bardem...

I'm the polar opposite, my brain decided pop culture is essential knowledge, even if I end up like "that's David... some fairly standard British surname, he was in House, and The Rock, also World War Z"

And

1: you don't forget a voice like Keith David, and you can't forget a face like Eric Roberts /2: not knowing Peter Stormare should be some kind of crime /3: I'm a pop culture sponge, so Martin Csokas and Kim Coates are just in my head now /4: is that a young Tom Sizemore?

Um, lasers go 'pew' or 'kchow', but the Rex Mars Atomic Discombobulator definitely goes Zap

I'm at the point where if I need white to be a major color, it'll be spray-primed white, and all others on top (it helps warm colors pop, anyway). All my space marines were black-primed because it spared a lot of detail work.

Coming this Fall to Spike TV: The Deadliest Warrior 40K Who would win in the ultimate stabby showdown?

Is it just something about what white paint is made of that makes it suck? Every white I've ever used has been a globby nuisance, even when thinning (or trying, anyway).

I honestly have no real idea how I ended up with extra bodies (since I typically build a kit as intended). But in recent history, a friend was downsizing his to-do pile and sold me 2 of the old 20-man guard kits, so I've got 4 distinct squad projects somewhere between planned and done.
comment in response to post
White-ish; it's my only guard unit where the white is the point; a prototype for a winter-world guard regiment (full squad unfortunately not on my current available-bodies budget). Photographed inside a very large acrylic case because it's a fair nuisance to open.

I bet Autocorrect uses the same dictionary that Ubisoft's video game version of Scrabble does, which clearly hasn't been updated since 2002.

So this is way back starting in the hobby, the 05-07 window; I custom built a Predator out of bits from Catachan, ork and Tau, with green stuff for the mask, dreads, and legs (his legs are literally green stuff over sprue).

The blade of the sword broke off on my Baneblade officer, so I gave him a catachan knife replacement.

If I'm in my following tab, it's less than 1% current events. It's all minis community, writers, and other hobbyists. The absolute least thing I come here for is politics.

To each his own; I can't imagine having a movie on mute while painting minis, and I've always got something on in the background while doing that. I think I focus better without absolute silence, same with driving.

I wonder if it will have the same impact on you as it did on someone who's grown up on it; it's got great meta humor, some timeless quotes, and such phenomenal chemistry of the voice cast. And it's a short commitment, 78 min.

Thing is for me, Fury Road isn't so much a 'put on and relax, background noise' kind of comfort movie, it's a 'sit down and experience the majesty of what cinema is meant to be' kind of movie.

At my local I hear plenty of legit 80s jams, find myself thinking "I wish I worked here, if only for that," compared to a tedious mix of the dullest 1-hit-wonders of the 00's, and off-putting covers of hit songs that must only exist to evade paying royalties.

I saw another post mention that these planes are apparently at the end of their service run, and the speculation that this could be an experiment in insurance fraud.
