Selective outrage involves showing outrage over specific incidents or events that align with one's preconceived beliefs or ideologies while disregarding similar incidents that contradict those beliefs.

I got the freckled loth-cat kitten! #swtor

We are all the villain in someone's story...

Food for thought. Moderation is key.

The hypocrisy of many social activists is that they claim to stand for freedom, self expression, consent, ethics, accountability, science, and facts until any of those things becomes an inconvenience to their ideology.

My eyes when there's no dark mode... #migraineur #lightsensitivity

Sure, I did meet some of the most insufferable people...

Things are rarely clear and simple. Be careful in opposing bad ideas to not blindly support equally bad opposing ideas offered as blanket solutions.

Never argue against facts just because you don't like the person presenting them. That just makes you come across as ignorant, stupid, or both.

"You can't legislate love" , "We have to step forward and ask questions about each other and engage" This is why I oppose "we have to force behaviors"-Larry Fink. MLK preached tolerance because he understood that trying to force goodwill only breeds more resentment. www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ajyy...

(This is not the validation of your social bias that you think it is...)

Before you follow me know that I'm not going to follow you back...

This is why ideologues tend to avoid or become agitated at any discourse that subjects them to criticism...

This applies universally and is not a validation of any side's biased beliefs or narratives...

Blind idealism is not the answer to abject cruelty. Good intentions while commendable can be manipulated to be self defeating. Let go of the need for instant gratification. Effective and responsible change takes time lest that pendulum swing back in force...

Many people love to post insightful meme regarding good vs evil ironically and willfully in denial of how those same memes can be objectively applied to the shortcomings of their own methods and ideals.

Criticism is not hatred. Many people are quick to claim victimhood when they encounter the slightest criticism regardless of how fair or warranted it may be. To demand otherwise is to act with the intent of tyranny.

When your words or actions upset people trying to justify racism of any kind, you must be doing something right.

If your cause is just it should stand on it’s own merits, not the silencing of opposing views...

I will always stand for what I believe is right. This is something most activists and ideologues have very little to no tolerance for. Fairness, justice, and truth is not exclusive to picking a "side" regardless of how much they want you to think it is...

Common disingenuous practice on all sides.
