I love the tg-7 especially because I think its color and image tuning is great (it seems to be doing something really good with white balance that almost feels like sort of subtle color temperature enhancement in auto) but I do wish it wasn't the only option for waterproof camera that does raw

- except in certain nightscape scene modes where it's jpeg only, where it'll go down to 15s. So the camera is definitely capable of doing at least sort of long exposures, it just doesn't let you do it yourself. Why?

Just realized I had blue light reduction on on my laptop and that's why it looked way too warm 🤦‍♀️ but maybe it is still a bit too warm idk

I think it might need a little bit colder white balance and less saturation but the main point was to have a mode that puts it in manual focus, sets it to near infinity, puts a 2s timer on, sets the shutter speed to 10s, and rearranges the adj menu to surface interval + outdoor display setting

It's been in my pocket almost every day literally since it came out, so it's not surprising to me that it's showing some wear but I really love it and rely on it as an always-on creative tool...

What I actually hope for is that my GRIIIx lasts forever and I never have to replace it but it *is* making a slight noise when focusing now and I'm gonna have to do sensor cleaning surgery on it again as soon as I can get to it...

It's the best search engine I've tried. Even if you're not up for paying for a search engine, it's worth trying with a free account for specific searches that Google won't do a great job of anymore.

At least two of the llm group said in the later questions that they only used chatgpt to help with either grammar or transitional sentences, so presumably at least those two mostly wrote the essays themselves - and still weren't engaged with the process enough to functionally remember Anything

Granted my memory is shit, but over 80% of the llm users had difficulty quoting something from any of the essays they had just written, and literally none of them could quote anything accurately - that's crazy And all the prompts were SAT philosophical opinion type questions

It's pretty instant, says this study. One group writes essay with ChatGPT, one without. Then they switch. The group coming from AI is already less capable. arxiv.org/abs/2506.08872
