Imagine how pissed this generation is going to be when they become adults and realize our generation KNEW about the dangers but ignored them, creating lifelong illness for many of them.

It will never cease to amaze me how people will talk over disabled folks, tell us we’re wrong, infantilize us etc… and yet they can’t realize that in refusing to believe us and give us agency they’re almost always proving our point. We aren’t listened to. We aren’t believed. Ableism is everywhere

There are two problem-solving approaches: 1) identify a problem that you want to solve, then find a method that will solve it or 2) pick a method you want to use, and go hunting for problems. The second way is the stupid way, so it shouldn't surprise anyone that it's the default method in tech.
