That’s the thing, I don’t think it’s theft. I think that argument is a terrible appeal to emotion. I also think that the good AI has the capability of achieving will far outweigh the bad. It’s ok to have a different view on it. It’s just weird to keep using emotionally charged language over it.

Sure, all of those things are true. But they are also true of a lot of things we all use. And I believe even like those things, AI is STILL a net benefit for humanity. The same way I feel the internet is. And even social media. Same with most technology.
