So let's get this straight: The U.S. and Elon are now extorting Ukraine and threatening to turn off their Starlink Internet access unless they give their critical rare earth minerals to the United States? Staggering levels of corruption.

So the President not only fired the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs. He also fired the top JAGs at the Army, Navy and Air Force. Those are the lead people who determine what is a legal order and what is not. So if you're planning to do things that are illegal they're the most obvious obstacle.

People i know who had a Tesla have sold them. Nobody wants a Tesla now

Disgusting.

@propublica.org with great reporting again on DOGE. DOGE is Schroedinger's organization according to the Trumpers: it both is and is not an agency, is and is not run by Elon, is and is not receiving federal funding. Propublica identified $40M in federal funding redirected to DOGE from agencies.

Amen brother

Absolutely!

And why the hell is that?

@hakeem-jeffries.bsky.social @schumer.senate.gov Learn from AOC - more of this. Plus get @petebuttigieg.bsky.social to be a regular spokesperson to get the facts out to people.

Medicaid is not for sale. NASA is not for sale. The Post Office is not for sale. America is not for sale. We have an obligation to resist kings. We outnumber them. And they can be overwhelmed.

#StoneAgeMentality It appears #Rump can celebrate #BlackHistoty, but no one else. 🤬 Not making this up, yesterday at the #WH.

I’m telling you @hakeem-jeffries.bsky.social, please watch this. This is the energy. Not egg prices and book tours and strongly worded letters. It’s time to take the gloves off.

⚡ A poll found that nearly half of Britons consider it more important for the UK to support Ukraine than to maintain strong relations with the United States.

I don't think the Dems can stop the firings. But why aren't they proposing legislation that assures those that took the buyout get paid , and that all that are fired, get at least a year severance and health benefits? And any one with a health condition is covered the entire time they are sick?

Fucking disgraceful.👇

Article II, Section 3 : "....[the President] shall take Care that the Laws be faithfully executed". This behavior doesn't sound like faithful execution to me - more like diligent circumvention of the laws.

The plaintiffs in the case need to put this in front of the judge, stat

To the @GOP senators and Congressmen who claim to support Ukraine, you do have some power… if you’re unwilling to exercise it then don’t pretend to care about your country more than your political career:

The economic peril of pivoting to Russia: As Donald Trump pivots away from Europe and toward Russia, he's putting at risk the deepest and most important economic relationship in the world: that between the U.S. and Europe. Why it matters: The U.S. economy has reaped enormous dividends from the way…

Wow! What a hero! 💙

Pritzker: If we don’t want to repeat history, then for god’s sake, in this moment, we better be strong enough to learn from it.

Thursday’s front page of the British Daily Star. Putin’s Poodle

The goal of the law-abiding world should be to make Russia's invasion "pointless".

No, defending your home and standing up to a dictator is not a “pointless war.”

Typical Trump lie: He said Zelensky’s approval rating was 4% when in fact it hovers around 57%, far higher than Trump’s has ever reached. Another: He called Ukraine’s democratically elected leader a “dictator.” Yet another: He blamed Ukraine for Russia’s military invasion of its sovereign territory

I’m George Takei and I approve of this message.

“We know in our bones and from our modern history the danger of an unchecked government scapegoating ‘outsiders’ to gain power, preying on a population experiencing hard economic times to gain support for a violent and destructive agenda. We will not stand by while history repeats itself.”

President Zelenskyy has been one of the greatest leaders of our time, guiding Ukraine through the darkest period of its recent history, rising up to Russia’s unwarranted aggression, being an inspiration to the Ukrainian people and ensuring that Ukraine’s voice is heard on the world stage.

The Party of Reagan Is Selling Out Ukraine - The Atlantic

To oppose one’s own country. What a strange position for an American to be in. But bcuz Trump/the United States has decided to stand with Putin, I have no choice. Bcuz I stand with Ukraine, NATO & the free world. Strange, yes. But my country is siding with the invader/dictator. My country is wrong.

Just 3% of Brits think Ukraine is responsible for the war. Trump has lost all allies. Entirely.

I'm with Zelenskyy on this one

Living in Musk's head rent-free.

Bravo Finland

More Good News That’s Bad for Trump and Elon I have more good news for you today. Everyone deserves a break from the Trump and Musk chaos. I hope this provides some relief from their mess—even if just for a minute.

Great examples!

Senators Susan Collins, Lisa Murkowski, Joni Ernst, etc: You’ve seen Hegseth, RFK Jr, and others give worthless assurances. You’re now seeing the US appease Putin, and DOJ guardrails crumble. Are you going to let Kash Patel use the FBI against his enemies list and further destroy the rule of law?

Step 1: Fire FAA workers. Step 2: 5 plane crashes occur culminating in 86 deaths. Step 3: Hand new air travel contract to Musk/SpaceX. Step 4: Pretend it’s about ‘safety.’

Trump trashes Zelensky as a dictator. Still has never said a negative word about Putin. Idk whether Europe/Ukraine has figured this out yet - but you are on your own. You have no friend in the current US govt & Republicans in Congress who said they supported you will say nothing.
