Combine this with the laws already in place that allow states to purge voter registrations for arbitrary reasons and now you see how this will 100% be abused. There is no good faith with the GOP anymore.

Skyblivion is set to come out this year. It’ll be all of Oblivion using Skyrim + custom assets.

Can we at least get OG 4 lokos back? That would help a bit.

If Nintendo made a straight up GTA Mario, I’d look past everything and buy a Switch 2 on the spot.

At least in Covid we knew an election was around the corner, and the adults kept him in check until the wheels came off in year 4…
This is so much worse somehow.

Honestly though…who cares. The right will demonize the left no matter what happens from now on.

Also, this movie had no business going this hard.
Holy hell Sonic is cool again.

You could see how pathetic and weak he sounded. His ego cannot handle being challenged.

Then handed over power with a smile to a guy who is doing exactly what he said he’d do.
Regardless of what good Biden did, his legacy will be tainted but what he failed to do.
Imagine trying to play a basketball game by the rules when the other team is tackling you. That’s what happened here.

It’ll get to a point where pilots refuse to fly. They don’t want to die either.
You want to grind the US to a halt, this is a big step.

Honestly, use social media…
Put the stories in that stupid Minecraft format with an AI narrator or literally use screenshots of your writing and post on Tik Tok, Instagram, and YouTube. You’d be surprised how effective it is.

That’s kind of the wild thing…I truly think these people believe the US will still be the leader of the free world despite offering nothing in return.

They want money now, and as much of it as possible.
That fact alone disproves the notion that pharma has secretly found a cure for cancer.
comment in response to
post
So why would any one pharma company, who pretty much live quarter to quarter to please shareholders, hold back the most profitable, in demand discovery of all time…just to ensure the rest of the industry can profit off other treatments…
That’s not at all how these companies think.
comment in response to
post
No, absolutely not is the answer.
Whatever company comes up with the “cure” would basically have an exclusive right to market it, and would basically have the most in demand medication since fucking Tylenol came out.
They could charge whatever they want (because US certainly won’t limit them).

After the patent is up (in the US at least) other companies can make a “generic” version of whatever this mythical cure is, driving prices down.
Think critically…do you think Merck shareholders and C-Suite execs really care about Pfizer’s ability to profit off cancer treatments?
comment in response to

First of all, if some Pharma company found the CURE for cancer
(nvm the fact that there can’t be a one sized fits all cure because cancer can mean a whole bunch of different diseases)
They would absolutely release it. Pharma co’s have “X” amount of years to capitalize on a patent (usually 7-10)
comment in response to

Big Pharma would happily cure cancer if they could.
Do you know how much f@&$ing money they could charge for the CURE for cancer.
I say this as someone who works in clinical research…they would 100% release the “cure” if they had it…you just wouldn’t be able to afford it.

Crypto had a chance to prove it could revolutionize finance in 2017. Instead, it took 45 minutes - hours for a transaction to clear. It failed its test miserably and the goal posts got shifted.
I was a big crypto guy for a few years. It failed to deliver on everything…

Oh yeah…we got that one too…week before Christmas.
Regular Flu A for Christmas. Now apparently onto Flu B.

Grand Zeno - the Child-Like thing was weird. Didn’t really like this.
ToP - Awesome concept! A ton of fun to watch. Ngl, I did fast forward through some of the less interesting battles though lol.
Jiren - Loved the power, but character felt underdeveloped.

6th versus 7th Universe: Awesome! No notes! Hit was a great antagonist. Champa was a bit too goofy for my liking.
Goku Black: Eh. Kind of cool. Ultimately felt convoluted (even for Dragon ball).
Freeza’s 1st return: The whole thing felt forced…but I do love me some Freiza.

Beerus and Whis - initially Amoral, terrifying, and such an intimidating presence. Vegeta’s fear of Beerus really sold it. I didn’t like that they “softened” him up by the end though.
Freiza - Mixed feelings. Hated him coming back at first. Enjoyed him thoroughly in ToP though.

Outer Wilds hit me unexpectedly. Something so beautiful about the ending and the lesson of acceptance. Anyone having an existential crisis should play it though to the end!

And that’s not even addressing the data purges…
If you want to understand the general feeling in my field right now, just know that researchers and physicians with decades of experience are extremely worried.
This is different.
This is not normal.
This is not a time to wait and see.

RFK’s mere consideration is such a slap in the face to those of us who have spent years in this field. He is not only unqualified, his views are dangerous.
He may have a handful of appropriate takes (like his stance on red dye), but for the most part, he is a conspiracy spewing Trump sycophant

This isn’t just changing priorities as is normal when new administrations come in.
This is a full blown dismantling of the organizations responsible for ensuring the drugs we take are safe and effective.
The FDA can’t even effectively communicate drug recalls right now…
