Michel Moore and I disagreed on PLENTY when he was LAPD chief. Still do. That's civics. But he was always willing to listen. We were civil and thoughtful with each other. I had cell numbers for him and captains 24/7 if press were in handcuffs (unlike new admin!). I appreciate him writing this.
