I think it primarily comes down to the fact that NO ONE believes that the Israeli military actually has the capability of destroying all of Iran's nuclear capabilities unilaterally and that launching a massive and controversial military strike to take out SOME of their nukes is dangerously idiotic.

Her blood is on the hands of every single fucking law enforcement officer who wears a mask and refuses to show their credentials.

(I'm pretty sure it also wasn't a serious suggestion for everyone to repaint their signs, just someone humorously pointing out that the "No Kings" protest is, ironically, targeted at someone who currently has significantly more power than the vast majority of remaining monarchs on Earth)

I'll take "odd man in a funny hat and a robe with basically no power whatsoever" over, "fascist authoritarian deploying the military to assist the masked federal agents who are kidnapping people of the streets" any day.
The outfit's just an outfit.

Seems to me as though the entire U.S. judicial system is literally built on "soothsaying the founders intentions".
Half the time they put out a ruling I expect SCOTUS to have cited a seance.

No one ever would, it's a crazy allegation made crazier by the fact that there was also a local network news report about the test with additional footage from multiple angles and interviews with some of the people doing the test.

I think that, actually, they have no idea what they've done.

These loses were all pre-election and on Trudeau's watch though, right?

This is not just one officer losing his cool. There are too many officers in this video to count.
If this is how @lvmpd.com officers respond to protected speech, the department has serious problems.

The @lvmpd.com officers:
- Call one streamer "big mouth" as they tackle him (Video 2: 0:30)
- Say: "You need to learn there's rules: don't run your mouth at me. Now you're on your face" (1:03)
- Say: "Anything else you want to say? ... Sue away. Sue away. Now you got to jail." (2:28)

I pointed out in a couple of those posts that he was lying so... I'm blocked now.

Oh, I see.
I thought you were a regular person, not a troll. Sorry about that.

Sadly, I'm almost certain this is a fan account and that the actual team has done nothing like this.
FWIW, I'm not sure the team even has an official BlueSky account.

Courts need to understand that this administration chooses its actions with complete disregard for the law, and only afterward tries to reverse-engineer a legal explanation. That means if an action seems facially and obviously illegal, it almost certainly is - not a difference of interpretation.

I think that a post accusing an anonymous group of people you've never met of being soulless because you got fooled by a internet post from >20 years ago that hasn't been updated yet since an account from an encyclopedia brought it to your attention an hour ago is not the sort of post I need to see.

It's true but I also think that the internet of 2001 was vastly different from the internet of 2025.
I mean, they created that troll post before 9/11.
Also, I'm not CERTAIN it was for April Fool's but it does say it was specifically from April, 2001.

To be fair, Snopes didn't install an extension on your browser that hides some hyperlinks from you. 😀

I think it complicates things as well that their troll post was created in 2001, when I assume that 1) it wasn't as clear to us as it is now how rampant disinformation is online & 2) it might've been more obvious that if the whole text is a hyperlink you should click it before just grabbing the text

(As you arguably shouldn't trust me and simply click the link I provided either, just in case you didn't click that link earlier...)
