Using a MacBook for data science isn’t unusual! Trying to run a massive query locally, on the other hand…

I’m a serious data scientist and I use a MacBook Air! Not that I would default to running something locally in such a case, but even if I did, it would be hard to construct a query so poorly that it broke after scanning 60k rows.

Kind of a bizarre leap, my guy. My house is horribly designed but it’s perfectly safe. Design is in the eye of the beholder. Safety is in the eye of the building inspector.

That’s bigger than my backyard, in a single family home on its own lot! Absurd to call these ADUs “stacked on each other” when they each seem to have a great amount of space.
Thank you for this great reporting!

1 more point on literacy: it's a disaster that the inner workings of the US government are incredibly complicated and illogical (filibuster, reconciliation, Electoral College, etc). parliaments work better bc dipshits can pick a party that sounds good and see that legibly translated into outcomes

Yeah, the party system short-circuited checks and balances. This was masked for a couple hundred years while the parties both had liberal and conservative factions, but once the parties became ideologically sorted there is no incentive for Congress to fight a president of their own party.

Julian the Apostate, the emperor so well-read in ancient texts that he re-flooded the lost Babylonian Royal Canal to surprise his Persian enemies from behind?
Yeah, I’m not seeing a lot in common.

I don’t think people understand how much the constitutional order is breaking down. If the president can unilaterally disband agencies Congress established, it’s gone.
