Speaking about knowing too much history - while waiting for a contractor, I started reading "On Tyranny: Twenty Lessons from the Twentieth Century by Timothy Snyder. It's amazingly on point, and you can track what is happening now and what will happen if we don't stop it. Read it. Seriously. 💙📚

I had my very 1st surgery yesterday at nearly age 50 to remove a penile lesion (thankfully, younger folks have the HPV vaccine!) & a problematic mole for biopsy. Stitches on your genitals after skin was excised is not a pleasant feeling.

In my work, I have never been the sort to say “Not my job, not my responsibility. Go find the right person.” Plenty of others are that exact way, and it’s one reason I’m popular as the guy who “knows everything” even when I’m just resourceful enough to know who does what adjacent to my work. 🤷🏻‍♂️
