This is precisely what the people are yearning for. It’s the feeling the bad guys are winning, bc they are—they revel in their triumph, exuding smugness and arrogance. They’re not engaged in a sincere attempt to bridge the divide to find common ground. Compromise is not an option dealing with MAGA
comment in response to post
Amen! As a New Yorker, I appreciate you @repjasmine.bsky.social for finally speaking the truth—blue state tax dollars keep broke red states afloat. Time for MAGA to step out of their bubble. #FAFO

Biden boosted IRS funding through the Inflation Reduction Act, while Trump is reducing it. They don’t want the IRS to fulfill its role—ensuring that millionaires and billionaires pay their fair share. Is it fair enforcement or just protecting the wealthy? #TaxTheRich #IRS #FairShare

Rogan’s dethroning was overdue—spreading misinfo for too long Congrats to #MeidasTouch! Grinding it out daily since day one. Independent media getting it done while legacy media continues to fail us Shoutout to @michaelcohen212.bsky.social for being key to their success #MeidasMighty #Brigadiers

Like 9/11 and the Holocaust, we must not let deniers distort or erase the truth of J6. It was a coup attempt and a stain on our history. Thank you for defending the truth, Harry—your commitment to democracy is remembered.

What do you want Biden to say—‘I told you so’? The media and even Democrats spent years neutering him, treating him like an afterthought while obsessing over Trump. If they had done their job—covering Biden w the respect his presidency deserved i/o normalizing a convicted felon—maybe we w/n be here

NYCs political landscape is shifting. Special elections are unpredictable and progressives face pushback on crime and immigration. Hochul’s narrow win over Zeldin signaled voter dissatisfaction, while Cuomo still retains support among moderates, including Black and Orthodox Jewish communities
comment in response to post
Hochul is indecisive. As Governor, she knew about Adams’ corruption since before his indictment. Do you really think she wasn’t informed about the investigation? All this talk about consulting leadership is nonsense. Just as Cuomo had to go, it’s now Adams’ turn—he’s toxic and needs to be removed
comment in response to post
Cuomo will likely be elected, whether in a special election or the mayoral race. Although he hasnt declared his candidacy, an Emerson College Poll shows him w 33% support, while Mayor Adams has 10%. Other candidates, like Stringer and State Senators Ramos and Myrie, are in single digits
comment in response to post
Waiting won’t help Hochul hold off Cuomo. New Yorkers feel he was done wrong by Democrats and the polls reflect that—recent polling shows he’s leading the Democratic primary field. New Yorkers want Adams gone. He’s corrupt and needs to be removed now—you don’t keep someone like him in power
comment in response to post
What a weak move. Is Hochul afraid to act because it’s Black History Month? Sharpton isn’t an elected leader—he told her to wait on Adams, and it backfired. Adams is corrupt, his admin is rotten, and he’s lost the NYPD’s confidence and respect. He cannot stay in power. Period.

It’s simple: stand up to a bully, and they’ll back down. Let’s be real—AOC is from the Bronx. You really want to take on someone with that kind of street smarts? Us New Yorkers know exactly how to handle a bully.
comment in response to post
It was an ambush, Harry. They knew exactly what they were doing.

I’m with you, Glenn. People in the Fox bubble h/b kept from the truth for too long. If Fox wont tell them, it’s time to take it to them. We all have family who refuse to listen. Have you considered Rogan? He spreads misinfo, and we need voices explaining the rule of law and what Trump was guilty of
comment in response to post
That community note holds no significance for MAGAworld. When did facts ever hold any importance for them? J6 was a day of love and they’ve repeated it so frequently they’ve convinced millions the heroes of that day are the villains. In their twisted perspective, 43 is greater than 946

George—how dare you remain silent when the Harris campaign raised a billion and the media failed to remind everyone? • Impeached 2x • Mishandled a pandemic • Attempted a coup • Stole classified docs It’s time to hold voters accountable—they elected a convicted felon/adjudicated rapist. #FAFO

I’ve been a registered voter since 18 and never got polled—now they call daily. Stop asking who I like. I’m still salty about Biden’s treatment. Maybe if Democrats grew a backbone and stepped into the modern era of governing, campaigning, and reaching voters, we’d have something to talk about

Now you tell the people. You had 2+ years to warn us. Bastards.

Why should it matter whether Cuomo runs in a special election or the primaries? He’s running either way. Adams is corrupt and needs to be removed now—you don’t keep someone like him in power.
comment in response to post
Hochul has no choice. She knows the corruption in the Adams administration runs deep, and if she doesn’t act, New York voters will hold her accountable. This isn’t about timing or Cuomo. If he runs, he runs—whether she removes Adams now and triggers a special election or waits for the primaries.
comment in response to post
So Biden steered us out of it… of course Trump tanked it again. Damn and I generously gave it 6 months before he fucked it up.
comment in response to post
She’s unbearable. She says she ‘needs time’ and ‘doesn’t want to make knee-jerk decisions.’ Seriously? She knew how shady he was, and ever since Trump’s election, it was obvious something was up. Is that really the kind of guy she wants running NYC? Just get it over with already!
comment in response to post
Where the hell is Governor Hochul? Barb, wouldn’t the choice now be for her to remove Adam’s from office and end this nightmare?
comment in response to post
We’re stuck in the planning stages for a single day of protest sometime in March, there’ll be nothing left of this country by then. Other countries immediately take to the streets in protest, fighting for their future—like we used to. Have we forgotten how to make our voices heard? 🤦🏼‍♀️

Totally tracks w this lawless admin—the loon spreading lies, misinfo, conspiracy theories is vaccinated, along w his wife and children, yet he’s now in a position to make decisions that put lives at risk. It’s my future grandchildren I’m terrified for, w someone like him shaping public health policy

Trump set the precedent—running for office while the courts bent over backward to accommodate him. Delays worked in his favor, rewarding him with re-election while the public never heard the full extent of his actions. Now, Adams and others and w/b following his lead to evade accountability.
comment in response to post
It’s up to New Yorkers now to vote him out. Let’s show we have more integrity and respect for the rule of law than those who voted for an adjudicated rapist, convicted felon, and coup plotter for president.

All the chickens are dying under Trump.

Gotta hand it to Trump—everything he touches turns to shit. I figured he’d coast on Biden’s economy for at least six months before it cratered, but it’s happening even sooner. The mass deportations are working like a charm—go on, ‘Merica, time to claim those jobs you swore immigrants were stealing!

#PLUSLoans were excluded from forgiveness, leaving #parentborrowers out in the cold. What they didn’t tell you? PLUSloans never qualified. My husband, a 30-year civil servant, did everything for PSLF—consolidated, IDR—yet the loan was never forgiven. And Harris? Useless. No plan for parent borrowers
comment in response to post
Yeah, well, if the #DOE is on the chopping block, does that mean I can stop paying the #PlusLoan I was promised would be forgiven under #PSLF and wasn’t? The #FederalStudentAid website is down for “maintenance,” locking users out until February 9th.

Every day needs marches, not just a symbolic planned day of protest and then it’s over and everyone goes home.

Yeah, well, looks like the next government agency on the chopping block is the Department of Education. The #FederalStudentAid website is down for “maintenance,” locking users out until February 9th. #180DaysofHell #FloodingtheZone

3/ Once we get rid of Citizens United and remove money and foreign influence from our politics, we might finally be able to self-correct on other issues
comment in response to post
2/ Instead of fighting for working families, the party that once championed them has left them behind. That’s why they were repudiated and lost. They even threw President Biden—the most pro-union, blue-collar president—under the bus by refusing to tout his accomplishments.
comment in response to post
1/ I’d choose overturning Citizens United. Corporations, millionaires, and billionaires have too many champions in Congress—who do we have? Democrats have lost their spine, AG. They’re too focused on culture wars the average American doesn’t care about.
comment in response to post
Congratulations, AG! Another one I’ll be checking into!

Angry, it’s frustrating because we can’t find your AMA responses. I scrolled all the way down and even switched to replies, but they’re still not showing up. Would you consider posting a transcript of the AMA once it’s over, at least until @bsky.app resolves this issue?”

Well thanks. NYT for telling us this NOW! Bastards.

The cruelty is the point, Harry. We had one chance to self-correct—a moral test—and failed. This isn’t just on Republicans; Democrats threw the most consequential president, Biden, under the bus. And the media? They failed to rise to the moment. This dark time didn’t come from nowhere
