They'll get due process following the arrest.

They're being arrested - the law allows that.

He's talking about immigration court.
Surprised that was so complicated to get.

People that went through lawful process and are lawfully present aren't being kidnapped.

Do you normally take Cato at face value?

That's a pretty dumb argument.

And you're welcome!

Do understand asylum, etc seq, and never voted for Trump.
I also understand that the law allows the President to call out the national guard when it's necessary to enforce the laws. So when people talk about stopping ICE, it is quite literally providing the legal basis for calling them up.

Sure. I'm not MAGA.
Only substantive replies in the future, please.

Those stats conflate several things: exclusions at the border, removals at the border, and deportations from the interior.

Trying to stop ICE from operating is quite literally the legal basis for calling out the guard.

The fact that some actions were illegal doesn't mean that all of them.
You're reasoning like a toddler.

I'll bet this isn't the first time you've said that.

So you're going with "fiery but mostly peaceful," huh?

Illegal entry gets 6 month in prison. Can you name a place where you get siz months in prison for a parking ticket?

I asked you to look precisely because there aren't any. You're barfing up internet urban legends.

It's not illegal to arrest illegal immigrants.
The AEA deportations were probably illegal, but that's a handful among tens of thousands.

Do you have a link from a reputable news outlet about a child arrested at a gradeschool graduation?

I'm saying that Biden didn't deport more people than Trump. He excluded a lot at the border, but that's a different animal. And you're also sort of dumb if you think that was straightforwardly legal.

No, he didn't.

That's most of the arrests.

Do we have any video yet of that incident that definitely happened?

Fiery, but mostly peaceful.

Good point. I suppose they're also belt & suspender-ing it, deeming a large enough trigger for (3) to constitute a trigger for (2).

It's the third one - when the law can't be enforced with regular forces.

Ah, so you're crazy.
Carry on, then.

It's not illegal, goofball.

California doesn't pay federal tax.
comment in response to

That's asinine. The taxes come from individuals, not the state.

With all the phones around? If someone actually got hit, we'll see video sooner rather than later.

It's an aftermath of something, but it isn't at all clear what that something is.

That doesn't show it.

It doesn't.

The marines are 54 billion.
Immigration would be $160B over 10 years, or ~$16B per year. That's less.

No, they wouldn't. Obama and Biden both deported people, and no one cared.

What does abortion have to do with deporting illegal aliens?

That's $160 billion over 10 years; significantly less than the Navy's annual budget of $250 billion.

The family's claims were denied by an IJ, the BIA, and the 6th circuit.
Time to go.

That's a funny headline. Military battles are often won and lost based on which side has the most tactical gear and flashbangs.

It's very good that the border is finally under control, then.
