Putin is a popular elected leader. Zelensky is a western propped up dictator.

Hardship was not what Trump promised. If he had been smart enough to realize the effects of his plan, and honest enough to admit it, he'd never have been elected.

He is a dictator who made war instead of the peace he promised, then canceled elections. Actually a prop raised by the West to fight an endless proxy war.

The history of technology is that while it makes us more comfortable in the short term, in the long term it costs us everything. AI is no different. We need more understandable and not less understandable technologies. Nothing wrong with plain old search if it wasn't rigged.

I wouldn't call this "selling out." Trump started a tariff war two weeks ago, now he's trying to make peace--which we need more of. We didn't need the new tariffs or the old ones added under Biden either. They raise prices for consumers and profits for just a few American manufacturers.

The ESC key was invented in 1960 by IBM. The CTRL key was standardized as part of ASCII in 1963. Both were (and still are) in heavy use, and especially by users of Unix and linux, where they make complicated things much easier. This stuff did not begin in 1980's with the IBM PC.

Anything but MacOS < 10. Especially avoid 9. Any Linux or Unix would be fine. BeOS if you want weird. NextStep if you're a glutton for punishment. Smalltalk if you want rare.
