I find it hard to comprehend. I treat rp characters as real people because I can connect to them. I'm sorry that you find it offensive. I'm sorry that you had to go through that. I know how terrible the effects can be because I feel so connected to my characters that I understand their pains.

It's autistic behavior. Also, I don't make rape jokes. I take it seriously because I'm emotionally attached to a character who's experienced that. By pretending to be someone who's gone through it, I can sympathize better. This is better for me than you think.
