There was a bit in this episode about who is adopting AI, and who is resisting. Personally, there's been so much smoke and mirrors from tech the last decade we've got a name for it -- the grift shift. Many of these tech are intrinsically interesting, but way over hyped. 1/2

Dems are the party of "we know better than you", "it's not your turn", and "rules for thee not for me" Voters arent buying Dem policies b/c they dont have any The closest they've come is "abundance" from EK/DT; or "fight the olig" from AOC and BS. How do we fix this? cc: @benwikler.bsky.social

How does one have time to run five companies, vandalize the government, purchase domestic elections, promote the Eur far right, sh*tpost on xitter, and still has time to... livestream... A video game? I can barely handle one job, one house, and kids.

One way of looking at yesterday is that Trump forgot the lesson of the law firms and universities. Go after one country at a time and that country is in a jam. Go after literally every country in the world at once, including the penguin countries, and you’re in the jam.
