Librarians & specialists are highly against age-rating books. 1 they're subjective, 2 they're a de facto ban for anybody outside the stated age, 3 they can & are used to implement bans, & 4 they fly in the face of intellectual freedom & the Library Bill of rights.

Last Saturday we did paint pour but the kids demanded brushes anyway. I rinsed and then soaked in a soapy bucket, came back Tuesday and it was still a nightmare, and then continued fighting it until this afternoon when it was finally clean enough. It took a whole week - ridiculous!

My library has a tiny sink in our staff kitchen that has two minutes max of hot water and...that's pretty much it. Cleaning paint brushes and pallette with caked on paint everywhere even when I try to clean as fast as possible is awful.

Ooh yeah that's excellent! I'm already using other websites for inspo so screenshotting while I'm there and marking it up or labeling bits I want to change could work!

What's the best way to visually mockup a web page so I can go through my mental process of figuring it out and show it to Admin to help them build it. Hand drawing not an option because of my dysgraphia. Would Canva work? Is there something better than Canva?

My big problem is I don't know how I want a web page to look when I start the process - I know what I need and want by going through the process so I have a hard time articulating in an email to Admin what needs to happen.

Your local library workers really need you to show up and fight for them.
And it isn't just about book bans.
Frankly, there are thornier, larger things going on than book bans for most libraries. Trouble is, they are things that require actions outside of the library to solve.
Help.
