Canadian introvert. Adopted a 5 year old cat 6 years ago and officially became a crazy cat lady. Arguably spends too much time watching reality tv.

If you know someone with a membership you might want to see if there are any specials or benefits for a referral. I often see ads for a gift card for online orders for first time memberships or referring someone, but I'm in Canada so it may be different. Also check groupon.

I think it's also important to break down the increase so that if tariffs are dropped we know what the price should return to rather than retailers sneaking in an increase and hoping we are just happy it's lower than the tariff price.

I'm seeing a sea of Leafs jerseys and car flags this week.

This bedspread reminds me of the quilt William always slept on @rudyfan.bsky.social.

It's so pretty! And good for you for transferring everything yourself! That's always intimidating to me.

I'm sure they're happy to have full bellies and a warm place to sleep.

That's fantastic news! I'm glad she can continue to enjoy petting and playing!

Do they look up because the camera moves?

It seems since I've followed you the cats have accepted newcomers. Has there been a time when they don't welcome a newcomer? Did Joker need to sneak in or could he have just walked in and hung out?

Do you think the change in light from the camera has helped bring in more overnight?

I'm watching YouTube videos to try to learn to crochet. I have the wrong size hook for the yarn I bought so I have to wait until this weekend to practice.

Did she back out eventually? Do you know or crochet?

Hopefully @recapkickback.bsky.social get together again for the remaining episodes. I really liked this series despite yelling at the tv about the lack of security @ the #Cross house! Like you know there's someone breaking into your house and electronics and you don't have police protection 24/7?

Year round allergies are no joke. Every morning I wake up and wonder if I have allergies or the start of a cold.

I'm excited to hear your thoughts. I was hooked within minutes of the first episode of #Cross! It's going to be hard to stop after just 2 episodes (1 episode in so far), but I am looking forward to all three of your takes.

@kevintedjacobs.bsky.social A video companion for this week's article! (I don't know how to link posts or I'd add your post about this week's newsletter matching Survivors to Taylor Swift albums.)

I listen to country music in the car but I'm mostly listening to podcasts these days - reality tv and true crime.
comment in response to

I don't know any of Taylor's pop songs, but still thoroughly enjoyed the article. The explanations of the eras and how they related to the Survivors were perfect! Highly recommend!
As an aside, I do appreciate the article link being emailed to me so I can easily find it each week!

It does feel like you're being cheated when they're all the same flavour.

I meant can't!
comment in response to

Of course you do. Those are the rules. You can have your last flavour be lemon (or lime).

This is Willow at the Humane Society. She was taken in after being shot with a pellet gun (at least 11 pellets in her), stayed there 2 months, adopted, & returned after 6 months. Two months later I met her and took her home the next day! Six years later she is still the perfect cat!

I don't remember being so bored when I watched The Summit Australia. Maybe binging it helped. There seemed to be more urgency in that one too.

Wouldn't you be able to smell it if it was that close? It's good that there are alerts to warn you about any danger.

Especially when I hadn't checked all day and wanted to read in chronological order but it kept returning to the most recent. It was annoying to try to find where I was before. I thought it may have just been my phone.

This was my first covid shot that I didn't need two days to recover and my arm didn't ache. Left arm got the covid booster and right arm got the flu shot. I considered the pneumonia shot but decided to wait on that. I appreciated that Rexall had online booking and I just had to choose which ones.
