Ooh, this sounds VERY exciting indeed! For terrifying/awe-inspiring, how about Fuseli’s ‘The Nightmare’, Munch’s ‘The Vampire’, Meryon’s ‘The Vampire’ (print), Blake’s ‘The Ghost of a Flea’, the engravings of Doré or the visions of Goya?! So many deliciously dark pieces to choose from! 🖤
