My chef daughter recommended Robert Welch to us. They're fantastic and the little paring knife is lovely. I wouldn't abuse it in a weird jar of cheese though.

Yes! Same. I did really love that book. Also it's massive in paperback and I was young and quite proud of myself for finishing it.

How far is it? Is your weather awful too? Have you had a lovely time? Apparently I have questions ๐Ÿคฃ

It's on a cupcake notelet (I was testing my nurse-level prescription reading handwriting skills. Still got it ๐Ÿ’ช)

Yes. I made the mistake of looking at the news. Never mind. I've got the last 10% of the last book of a seven book series and some knitting to do. And it's raining hard so I can't (don't want to) go out. How are you doing?

It's gorgeous, and I'm sure it can be saved. Do you use blocking wires/combs? That would make things easier for you once you are done.

Honestly, you can stretch that to twice the size once you are done. If it's wool. It is wool, isn't it?

That was really not my intention.

If people just did as they were told, which really isn't difficult, I'd have had another ep of Lady Jane watched, dinner started, and I wouldn't feel like setting fire to things. Argh.

It's awful, isn't it. I feel like I should be doing something, but I don't know what and there probably isn't anything. We were just talking about what we'd be doing if it was 1938. We came to the depressing conclusion, not much.

Everything is so EXHAUSTING.

I know right?! And also two papers, but we'll think about that tomorrow.

I'm making two of these cardigans, so I thought as I was in the make-the-back zone I'd knit the other back ๐Ÿงถ

She's a favourite of mine. Makes me die laughing in Derry Girls too.

The Irish one. She's also in the other thing.

That's one of the other reasons, also.

Oh that's lovely. But do watch the pottery, from the beginning. It's also got that woman in, and she's nice.

It's the absolute best.
