Had to do some digging, but here are 2 recommendations.
For an absolute goofy, LitRPG in space, Histaff (Skeleton in Space book 1) by Andries Louws.
and
Starship's Mage by Glynn Stewart
A nice blend of sci-fi space, and heroic, magical fantasy.

There's a pretty good one, that blends magic and spaceships together, that was a little less military and a little more aliens + magic. If you wanna give one a try in the future I can find the title.
