My effort to learn my GOP Rep's views on Musk et al gaining access to all US taxpayers' data failed again today. I went to his local office to learn they "don't deal with legislative issues." The polite staffer gave me a form to fill out but like all other staffers doesn't know Diaz-Balart's stance.

Received a letter from POTUS today purporting to remove me as Commissioner and Chair of the FEC. There's a legal way to replace FEC commissioners-this isn't it. I've been so fortunate to serve the American people and stir up some good trouble along the way. That's not changing anytime soon.

Today I called Rep Diaz-Balart about Musk's access to taxpayers' private information and again the person on the other end of the phone doesn't know his stance because the Congressman hadn't spoken about it. I asked her if he was ok with this and she said "she didn't want to get ahead of him."
