And he made an effort to understand Palestine and the circumstances surrounding the founding of Israel. He was smart and honest and human.

True. They are idiots.

At least Trump released a statement of genuine regret and sympathy…
… no… wait…maybe not!

So Iran should have done what exactly?? Pretended it didn’t happen??

But the US hasn’t become a banana republic yet, right? What departments aren’t yet run by moronic assholes? Is there a single capable and experienced person anywhere??

Only bad experience in FL was listening to so many people I’d have thought reasonably bright tell me ‘they voted for Trump’. Without Trump we’d have been there for 60 days annually… now zero going forward. We’d not go to Hungary, we won’t go to the US.

I wonder if reaching any conclusions right now might be a bit premature.

Agreed, but they’ve been highly effective at doing exactly that for 75 years. The Iranians are amateurs by comparison. Western media will shortly find a way to blame Iran for the Israeli attack…

Both sides will lie about everything. The Israelis will be better liars.

Did Trump not abandon the nuclear deal with Iran??

This was anticipated as soon as the US started withdrawing staff from the region. Israel is run by monsters (with no apparent restraint by its armorers in the US)

Yes, and no US media seems to be reporting it…

You’d enjoy Brendan Ballou’s PLUNDER. In a 25-year investment banking career I only met one PE firm that genuinely cared about the longer-term success of their investee companies.

Astonishing that he still had ‘respect for Donald Trump’.
He is an idiot.

The commenters have clearly figured her out. What’s wrong with Albertans?

Strikes me the primary federal goal is provocation. Trump’s been waiting for a chance to engage the National Guard. I suspect the military will be next.

And I will respectfully admit that I might be wrong. But I’ve recently gone through exactly this with my father and Boden’s debate performance was certainly not his first cognitive struggle. Ignoring his support for genocide, I’d agree that he was otherwise a very good President.

The fact remains that President Biden was sufficiently cognitively diminished that he should have left office long before he left. It was irresponsible for him, his family and his associates to pretend otherwise. That will rightly tarnish his legacy (not to mention his support for genocide).

And every Canadian should read this essay. Privatization sounds great until it bites us in the ass (think Ontario’s #407).

If you don’t have NYC readers, you should. Your book is excellent.

He could buy #407 for as lot less than he can build his stupid tunnel. But this is the same guy who closed the Science Centre and is building a spa at Ontario Place. Almost everything he does is to benefit his friends and supporters. Ontario’s citizens are never a concern.
