A new study asked “What if everyone had masked up?” and found that it “could have cut transmission markedly,” which is a reminder of how much better it could have been had we tried to take care of each other, and how much better it can be if we try to take care of each other.

It’s funny that we are all acknowledging that private health care is an absolute bureaucratic nightmare designed to limit treatment at the expense of patients’ lives and lots of people still believe that trans kids are just walking into medical facilities and getting treatment without question.

I know this sounds far fetched, but there is potential for bipartisan work on things like PBMs and Medicare advantage. Our current news cycle is showing us that these mega healthcare corporations have a roughly 0% approval rating. Everybody is pissed off at (mostly) the same things.
