1/4 🧵 Turns out I was on the right track yesterday considering state managment to handle the UI displaying the updated cart item quantity reflecting the change in the DB, but I chose using react local state as I found no need for state management libraries like Zustand for now.

1/4 Setting up the logic for adding menu items to the cart, I initially went for local state management to dynamically update the cart content. But then I realized it would cause prop drilling and it would be difficult to manage the cart state, so I quickly scrapped that approach
