Sadly, I'm not so sure most of my fellow Americans would... If they understood such things, Agent Orange wouldn't be our president.

100% agree. This administration WANTS those who oppose them to resign, it makes it so much easier to take over essential posts within the government. The best way to resist is to remain. Malicious compliance when it makes sense and outright refusal when one must.

Good luck with getting 3/4 of the states to ratify this at a constitutional convention.
It's a political stunt designed to either get Orange Chungus' attention or it's political slight of hand designed to distract.

I would LOVE if Hollywood would draft their contracts such that all residuals due to an individual are forfeit if they are convicted or found guilty in civil court of such monstrous acts... Then everyone else could still get their residuals and the offending individual gets nada.

Yeah, it's more or less my default, but I don't like that the actions of one impact everyone else too. I guess "fortunately" I tend to have picked up copies of offending media before allegations/convictions come to light.

To add complexity to the quandary... Others worked on that movie and at least some of them also get residuals from sales... Total boycotts hurt those people as well.
Plus, if you've already bought the media, you've already paid the scum bag... Can you still enjoy the movie for the other aspects?

It is possible to buy only what we need to survive. Not always convenient, but possible.

I would argue
1. it's up to us, as individuals, to make life worth living. We all lose if we hand that power over.
2. They can only take our pride if we willingly give it to them.
There will always be people who recognize the value of true art.
3. We don't have to buy into their consumerism bs

The more we foul up the implementation of technology, the more I find myself wanting to run off the woods and leave civilization behind... Of course I then remember I have the survival skills of a moth near a flame.

Definitionally he may be a creator, but I still wouldn't call him a creator from an artistic sense.
He seems more like someone who picked up Guitar Hero and thought he could quickly translate that skill to a true musical talent. When it didn't happen, he decided no one wants to put in the effort

Tell me you aren't a creator without telling me you aren't a creator. This guy is a complete tool.
