This is an interesting read, and also underlines how easy this would be if European leaders managed to agree on how to do it. 1400 tanks? EU manufacturing builds 13 million cars every year. Just... build the tanks. The manufacturing base is there.

Am I supposed to believe Rubio likes the UN now?

Most of the time I start writing something and never finish it. This is not one of those times. institutions.substack.com/p/europe-bet...

Elon Musk is a garbage tier human being and a lying sack of shit.

What the fuck

This is disturbing, a betrayal, all that stuff. But also, what the fuck is he even talking about? This is getting close to sharks and nuclear uncle territory.

These fuckwits dare lecture Europeans on freedom of speech

NATO might not be dead, but it's bleeding out on the floor.

Reading the tea leaves: the US is about to give sanctions relief to the Russians (for absolutely nothing in return, to be clear). Which means the ultimate test of the Brussels Effect is incoming, as EU will have to sanction American business in Russia.

Lavrov and Rubio in the same room already. I wouldn't be surprised if there are sanctions relieved soon.

This is just colonialism.

Somebody call the Free Speech Union, I've got a gig for them.

@qjurecic.bsky.social Came into the Ezra Klein episode wanting legal analysis, came out feeling unexpectedly optimistic. Thanks!

The Indiana Jones game makes me happy and nostalgic. Could have been made ten years ago, just solid mechanics with fun adventure. Reminds me of the first AC games. Being able to whack fascists with a golf club is a nice plus too.

These assholes are even making space travel not exciting.

I'm almost certain Trump believes water should flow from PNW to SoCal because PNW is higher up on a map.

The best response to Trump's wild ride is to use it to make Europe great again. on.ft.com/3Cr3XtQ
