To my knowledge he doesn’t do journalism anymore. It would be unethical if he was writing articles about her, but simply promoting her on his social media doesn’t come anywhere close to that.

I’m not upset. It’s definitely reasonable to criticize her for not really having a connection to the district, but The Onion does political satire. It’s not affiliated with any political organization. They have no obligation to disclose their personal relationship.
