Hi Sophie, I came to genealogy when my father was diagnosed with a terminal condition in 2010. He was adopted aged four and had never expressed any interest in knowing more. Two days after the diagnosis he called me and asked if I could find his biological parents. I found Mum but still seeking Dad.
