it's an accusation which comes up frequently but *lifts corner of arcade rug to carefully check under it* I'm still pretty sure I don't have kids

It's from 5 years ago, but I'm surprised it hasn't been shared more lately. There's a fair hesitation some people have about it being in poor taste, given the level of seriousness going on, I just figure it's not the joke that's doing harm and not all that different from how we use humor here daily

Walking? Don't think too hard about how close you come to qwop-ing out with each step.

p.s. speaking of books, while you're here, consider this 👇🏼 it's real, one hundred percent pure old fashion homegrown written and recorded, made right here in the real world

for what it's worth, just as a point of information, I mentioned Meta because it was the company named specifically in the quoted post of the post I was quoting (by the same person)

internet things change faster than laws keep up, big tech have a lot of money they spend to make laws suit their needs, some things they do already may not technically be legal regarding copyright but they're doing it anyway, and recent federal bill is trying to ban any regulation of it for 10 years

Hosting a website costs money proportional to how many times it's visited. For personal sites or small businesses it's negligible, adds up for popular sites Part of how genAI works is automatically visiting every page of sites to scan to train on. This is now a majority of site visits hosts pay for

I have no idea what they're from, which is always a risky move because there's a nonzero chance someone replies to let me know a heads up these are made by some terrible person 😬

if this didn't somehow help them launder money because the existing flaws were easy enough to maneuver they wouldn't be bothering with it

it already was, but it will be now, too* *joke aside, I think this seems worse than it was, feel an earnest concern that this thing people do of pointing out things were already imperfect, which will be true for any real case, unintentionally softens acceptance of new changes in the wrong direction

Oh, I'm sorry, did my vehicle get in the way of your child? Do me a favor and get children off my streets like now!

me realizing these letters are fake, practically 2 dimensional, propped up like another movie set facade with uggo supports on the back, feeling disillusioned by hollywood's superficiality

main part was poser 3 for the posed figures, using a cheaper/knockoff photoshop-like 2d art program (I can't recall the name of) for filters and editing, that last one with the reflective skeleton I think was done partly by importing the poser skeleton into an already then-outdated 3d studio version

they're charging the bookstore to run copies of each page of every book in there so they can resell the information from the pages instead of people getting the books, which if it sounds like what copyright exists to prevent because it'd kill the system producing new books, yep you'd be 100% correct
