It has been for a long time. Made exponentially more valuable through the intention we put into it.

Thinking about this in the context of technology & the next wave they claim that AI will become its own Media Platform, an all-encompassing transmedia universe, personalized and creating the context for full immersive experiences. It is important for brands to understand. #IRL2025 #CollectiveJourney

"The problem isn't who is in the throne, but the fact that there is a throne at all. It's not the person, it's the system." #IRL2025 This is a systemic narrative. The above was in reference to the world of "Game of Thrones", but applies as much to organizational culture/systems and political ones.

As we navigate the complexities of a tech-centric world, the focus should be on how technology can elevate human experiences. Companies that prioritize empathy, self-awareness, and meaningful storytelling will be better positioned to innovate in ways that resonate with people. #IRL2025

This disconnect can hinder meaningful change and innovation. To foster a more empathetic understanding of our feelings and experiences, companies must engage in deeper conversations that go beyond mere data and metrics. #IRL2025

Solis emphasized the need for self-awareness and open-mindedness as foundational elements for recognizing the potential of technology. He pointed out that only about 10% of people are truly self-aware, yet everyone believes they are. #IRL2025

As @briansolis.bsky.social articulated, while technology, particularly AI, offers significant opportunities for efficiency and optimization, it is essential to remember that the ultimate goal should be to enhance the human experience. #IRL2025 2/x

That would be really helpful constraint in the era of AI written books for which authors only invest a day or two...

sentient being is what I should have said here, realizing I lost the nuance... with the point being not that it isn't a collaborator, but a new type of collaborative intelligence that lacks humanity
comment in response to post
The most important #mindshift for AI is to understand it's not a sentient entity or collaborator but a tool that augments our humanity and transforms the quality of our work outcomes. Unlike other tools, this is a unique 24/7 expert collaborator that increases the value of #HumanWork #IRL2025

Just noticed a bunch of the nft and fake sexy profile pics that were following me here and that I ignored this week are no longer in my followers. Wonder if they chose that or the algorithm did it to their accounts.

That’s not to say that real people who you simply don’t know should be blocked. Sure, let real people follow you and follow back people you really know or have an interest in. But let’s not play the follower count status game. I’m guilty of it in the past when my accounts have been public. No more

Same. But how low can it go? Don’t answer. We’ve got four years to live through that first. But this is also why we’ve got to keep our attention on what really matters. And move from the public squares to our private circles. A lot of the old adages and thoughts need to be refactored.

Definitely not. Not even the pretzel.

Time of transition. Getting through some rough stuff into better times. We live in a paradise, but out of the action and trying to figure out how to shift that. How are you guys doing?

Hey Neal! I need a real pretzel again sometime soon. Maybe a cheesesteak with some whiz too. Wish I could get out your way.

This app is built on Mastodon. It’s an open source platform that’s also referenced as the core of the fediverse. You can install the server and have your own version of it and provision accounts to anyone. Or everyone.
