The last jury I served on was for a guy in his early 20’s that got choked unconscious by an off duty cop for filming with his phone after the cop chased him down for miles and they charged him with assaulting a police officer while he was in a carotid hold and going in and out of consciousness.

The letters NIH sent canceling grants involving trans people will weigh on public health and research forever. There's nothing that can be done to rectify the government saying, "this research is wasteful because the people it helps don't exist, and if they do exist, then they shouldn't."
