Or, they sent him away to training camp and when he returned, successfully convinced us all that we have a new Norwegian winger named “Eddi.”

Ok just got in. Small local roads are a sheet of ice. Primary local roads mostly decent. State roads hit or miss and some shockingly look entirely untreated.

So, I imagine that with a rumored transfer fee north of 4m, we have to look at him as a presumed starter, right? And likely in that second to top pairing in a 4-2-2-2 or as a traditional winger in a 4-3-3? Either way, this seems to hit Alex Muyl's minutes the hardest, right?

Could this be Bezexit part 2? If history has taught us anything, it is that when Bez comes in, championships are won and when he leaves you become…whatever Toronto was.

We are spoiled with this incredible team of writers. No brainer account subscription here. #EveryoneN

And to be clear this is in addition to assuming we pick up the perez option, as I think Shaff will be more productive in this system and may be gone over the summer.

Yeah, put Zimmerman in and shaff for muyl and I think it is our strongest lineup (love gaines, but I could see right back rotation too).

You didn’t know you were actually posting a safe streets post here, but Dolly was in a significant wreck on my street a few years ago and I’ve never seem the city act so fast to put in several stop signs. Legend.

Is it just me, or does this lineup feel a lot stronger with Hany on the wing? I’m not sure it would pan out in reality, but it seems a lot more dangerous than starting Alex Muyl (who is a workhorse but ideally a utility rotation guy). Maybe Boyd solves this when he comes back…

How so? We just signed two players from their national team on the same day.

Totally agree. Great move.

Very happy to see this, but the system is still so unnecessarily complicated. If we are going to stick with this, let's make it fun and also give every team 200K of BAM (Booyah Allocation Money) that can be used to artificially increase the salary cap hit of one player on a different team.

🦞 Dean of Students at vandy law, but I post almost exclusively about bikes and soccer. Melrose (don’t call it 12South). Used to live near Captain D’s before you know who turned it into a bank, which is much more sophisticated.

Fair point. I was really just talking about jack and you are probably correct. But it still feels like a bad deal. Perhaps in this case, a bad deal is better than no deal.

I hear you and I think you are right. I just wish that they would have considered dealing one of the younger guys for more GAM (I know the Intl roster spot has value too). We are also paying Maher a big salary for a pretty meh performance last year. McNaughty barely made a blip on our salary chart.

Ok, what would your reaction be if someone showed you that promo image in early August with no context? Also, COYS!

I’m so, so sorry. That should have stayed in my head.

100%. Gutsy and heartbreaking. Hell of a season for him.

100%. My street recently voted down street calming (by one vote) after a neighbor put a scary anti-cushion manifesto in everyone’s box and I’m confident that other measures would have passed with flying colors. At the initial meeting, they basically said cushions were the only option.
