Their live energy comes across really well on the Paradiso recording, love it ❤️

There's nothing 'special' about educational needs.
High time it was renamed 'Specific Educational Needs' to put the emphasis on what the student actually needs rather than lazily labelling them as 'special'.

Unnecessary 'The'.

Saw it when it was aired, kind of liked it but never followed up at the time 😟
Also missed them years earlier at the last Stonehenge free festival in 1984.
Fate finally threw me into The Pond in 1996(?) at The Fleece & Firkin in Bristol when a friend had a spare ticket. What an experience!

Thanks very much!
I found this really interesting but also concerning that there might still be widespread poor practice in 'Collective Worship'. I've seen such practice in church schools but less so in community schools who generally ignore the pitifully outdated law on CW.

And me.
Saw them live 25(?) years ago and they were astonishing.
No CDs available apart from the Sampler so listened to that over and over, not really sure about whether I liked it or not.
But by then the ear-worms were settling in and once I 'got it' it just kept getting better ❤️

Love it so much!
Tim really went to town on the production, I've been separating tracks using Moises and hearing all sorts of 'Easter eggs' buried in the mixes.
Nobody else has ever made such captivating music ❤️

Probably not.
You can be 'fairly spiritual' or even religious without believing in a personal god.

That's splendid, but nothing can match the fadeless splendour of Songs of Praise from an English cathedral (sensitively subtitled by Adam Buxton).

I was expecting to go but had a diary clash.
How was attendance? I'd imagine many people were at the cathedral to celebrate the life of Paul Stephenson.

I don't know about any Masonic aspect, I'm not 'on the level' and don't want my tongue buried a mile out at sea (or whatever they don't do!) 🤣

I've heard that Home of Fadeless Splendour is more akin to a Masonic hymn tbh. I also heard that Jim is (was?) one.
Bill also used to have an organ sound that was very 'churchy' at times, but I have the strong impression that religion was part of the Smith brothers' education.

Also note that you only get 60 'AI credits' a month.

BTW, if you think it's a good price for the AI be aware that only the account owner gets the feature on a family account.

Hopelessly anodyne, homogenising and misleading.
The reality is far more interesting.l

Access is so often an afterthought.
Yet so many people benefit from it (pushchairs, bicycles, etc).
