#photography #lightning In over 40 years of taking photographs, tonight was my first attempt at capturing lightning. This was shot hand-held at 24mm 1/30th, f5.6, ISO4000 using manual focus. It's not the sharpest image, and I know I can do much better. I just hope I get the chance to try again.

#phtographytips With the cost of modern digital camera batteries, rotating them is the best way to extend their life. Let them run down to <10% before changing them if possible, and then charge them fully. Make sure you rotate them by using them sequentially to keep battery cycles equal.

Shot with Sony A7iii/FE 24-105mm G OSS at ISO 10,000 and processed using Adobe Lightroom's AI Denoise. This was shot at 24mm, 1/30th, f8 and I am genuinely astounded at how clean and detailed the image is after processing. #Photography #SonyAlpha #AdobeLightroom
