Friday Schnauzer time

Lads, why does it need to be said...the Nazi's were feckin awful murderous bastards. Stop trying to emulate them.

This is my dog, yes he is happy, yes he is mad #schnauzer

My prediction for US politics, is that it’s going to be a wild ride for the first year, then the president will run out of steam and play a lot of golf. Focus will then turn to the mid terms which should change the dynamics. Potentially he could be a lame duck for the last 2 years.

Thoughtful piece by @graemedowniemp.bsky.social on the failure of the Labour Government to articulate its vision although I would go much further and say the Labour Party messaging has been abysmal. We need better communicators at the heart of the UK Government. www.politicshome.com/thehouse/art...

youtu.be/yut3rsIUh7E My first video of the year and maybe my most provocative. Now that Trump has won the election, let's have a look at why he won and why people may be dissatisfied with mainstream politics.

I mean, that's outstanding.

Not shocked. Badenoch jumping on the Musk bandwagon will not end well for her or the Tories #PMQs

The Employer's NI increase was a big mistake and an inhibiter to growth. Was really surprised at that move and it was clear to almost everyone that this would create fiscal pressure down the line. Time for Labour to change course. #LabourBudget

Elon needs to take a day off.

I have a theory about the rise of Trump and the threat of Reform. Politics is simple and they get it. People need food, a home, heating, a job and a sense that better days are ahead. On the flip side they fear that immigration threatens those needs and mainstream politicians are detached from them.

Did a thread on the current state of politics and such

lol. Kemi Badenoch is so bad at politics

Here’s a short story about who wins and loses from the status quo of our inheritance tax rules - and about, what you might politely call ‘sub-optimal’ journalism🧵

Not a fan of transactional politics but at least this shows how devolution is supposed to work.

My daughter is now obsessed with Buffy the Vampire Slayer so I have watched a lot of episodes and it just occurred to me that George Lucas must have seen the demons in Buffy and thought, they would look good in the Phantom Menace. Ridiculous cross over look @robgirvan.bsky.social any thoughts?

Wednesday Schnauzers to bring some joy to your afternoon

So far it has been lovely here
