It needs to be $25/hr to afford to live in Eastern PA. We’re competing for real estate with people commuting to NJ and NY for work and housing prices are still through the roof because New Yorkers think $450K is a great deal on a 70 year old, 3-bedroom split level! So make it count if you raise it.
