None of this can be divorced from Trump’s history of not paying contractors (and getting them deported if they complain), stiffing lawyers, reneging on deals, and shivving clients. He simply thinks you’re a sucker if you ever pay for anything and extrapolates that to world trade with zero thought.

Easily my least favourite part of bedtime is the part where EG gets up to ask for something, and then when I say no flops angrily back onto her mattress, absolutely clocks her head on the wall, and then has a sobbing meltdown about that. 0/10 would not recommend.
