It's so frustrating. I am on disability so I have Medicare. If I want dental/vision coverage I need a Part C plan. Issue is that no one will accept it. It's hard enough finding providers that take Medicare. Part C was another wrench that cost me over $2k.

I think it was Feb '21 that I worked with families all across the US who had kids with rare diseases & syndromes asking our leaders to help cover & expand telehealth. This included asking for support to increase affordable internet access in all corners of the country. Seeing this is disheartening.

Hubs is a sub in a middle school. This week, he has ISS duty. The office said they were sending a girl. He said the individual that arrived didn't present as female. Instead of going by what the office said, he chose not to gender them. In his words, "I won't label these kids." Love him for this 🥰

My therapist is 100% funded by federal grants. My therapy is $0 due to them. Last week she informed me that funding is good to September & then who knows. This week she began providing external resources because the danger yam has canceled mental health with the federal grant freeze. Insane times.
