Make it a show, call it The REAL Shark Tank and tell me when it's on - I'd even pay to watch (well, if I had any spare money, lol)

If only he cared that ordinary people think he is a liar and a cheat. He only cares what the people around him say to him.

I'm so curious as to the flavours of these fruits - are they distinctively 'lemon' and 'mandarin' or have the flavours become mixed somehow? Great crop, anyway! 🙂

I think this is a challenge for centre-left parties everywhere in the world. If the people they vote for aren't going to offer to support and care about them, people will vote for the team that offers them a chance to act out their rage and disappointment. The left needs to listen to this message.

No-one thinks that except the media, that whole thing is totally made up by them to create some kind of 'issue'. Prime Ministers travel, it's part of their job.

Do they have to go to these press conferences etc? Can't they just walk/move about and gather information wherever?

Once again, the ICE agents arrived in blacked out cars, no apparent ID and faces completely covered. On every occasion like this, they should be treated as kidnappers and criminals. Every organisation owes it to their customers, staff & fans to refuse any co-operation. (📸 Ruben Garcia)

What purpose does asbestos serve nowadays? In Australia, it was used for building, insulation and fire prevention for decades (old asbestos products are a real danger), but has it not been superseded by more modern products and methods? I've googled but only found what it WAS used for in the past.

Wasn't sure either but Google brought me to this: wits.worldbank.org/trade/comtra...

That is great! It will make a real difference in the lives of these workers. I will also be interested to see if this does increase the range of people wanting those jobs.

Demolish his ballroom, paint over all that gold nonsense, re-grass the garden and pull those flagpoles down. Then hire the best you can get for a ritual cleansing. That will be a great day.

Terrifying - no official insignia, nothing to say they are not just thugs off the streets 😞

Unless there's a medical or safety issue, I can't see a reason for them to cover their faces. And if there is a medical or health issue, they should use the appropriate masks, not whatever bandana they think looks scariest today.

He ran away because he was scared of the 20 minute meeting he'd promised to have with our Prime Minister, Anthony Albanese of Australia. Well, now we know Australia isn't worth 20 minutes of his time. What an idiot. It's OK, we won't cry. But I hope we won't forget, either.

Only recently found that out about Germany and think you make a GREAT point! Yes, annoying but also - potential for really useable design! Do most people buy cheap kitchens? Is there a bustling IKEA-like range of kitchen outlets?

AUKUS is a protection racket on an international scale. It's got much less to do with defence than $$$ but there's an political 'silence' of some kind making it impossible for them to disclose this publicly.

I'm working on that!

Agree! I'm old now but have always been short, and generally people have always been very helpful and obliging if I ask them to pass something from the top shelf etc. At work (and home) I do use a step ladder or similar. The few notable unhelpful exceptions make for a fun reminiscence later!

We had a whole Royal Commission about it! That's like a compulsory national legal investigation: www.childabuseroyalcommission.gov.au/final-report People are getting compensation, but not enough and it didn't break the churches, which shows how power pushes upwards and protects itself 🙁

*Sigh* Sadly, a major US export to Australia in earlier decades and they keep coming. It's full time work in a country without much religion to keep zealots at bay, but they got a thumping last election so they're back in their plotting holes now, with only oppressing their own women to do for fun
