I wasn’t sure if I was using the good olive oil or the cooking olive oil until I saw the bottle was really narrow, so now I can taste the difference

Watching the TOS Khan, then the movie? The TOS Khan has some interesting themes with the historian falling for Khan, iirc, so not sure...

group is clearly the problem here, need a more aggressive one with more specialized equipment
some of them just sit there and write near you, like that would ever help

I think he is fine, it’s the mercury-based preservative that keeps him from spoiling that is causing all the problems. We should do a study of that too.

You have completely missed the point of these photos which is to show how,
even if you put him next to a 9 foot tall human — you can’t stop looking at Adam Silver’s ears. You could put him in a photo of an actual train wreck and it would be the only thing people remember seeing.

I really don’t think the gamble is that huge. Americans are generally ok with limited bombing of people we don’t like. If Iran offers a thin agreement on nukes, claim victory. If Iran doesn’t respond much, claim victory. If Iran responds in a serious way, Americans will support a serious response.

The brief had all the tone and gravitas fitting the unprecedented attack on American values and law. So why the Coke vs Pepsi article graphics?

Isn’t this a misuse of the “package” jargon, which refers to the ordnance not the personnel or planes?

good point, that said, now that Trump is inoculated against looking soft, Netanyahu’s leverage is reduced. Trump won’t do non-bombing options, I don’t think, who knows what kinda of attention span he will have for an extended campaign…

Iran tried to get a bomb before others took military action to stop it. Israel destroyed much of Iran’s conventional deterrent. Without that the chances of nuclear success are very low.
The Iran regime values its continuation.
Trump does not want to occupy Iran.
There’s a deal to be done here.

Well that’s because we care about our honor and the blood spilled in Afghanistan. People couldn’t stand images of Afghanis who helped us trying to flee to the US to safety. Which is why we now have images of our translators being deported back there, probably to be executed. Hope that clears it up.

Yes it’s silly. Most people know that tuna are predators, obv not a vegetarian sandwich. A steak sandwich on the other hand is in fact a sandwich that only contains vegetarians.

Not sure sending it is right idea, probably should have stopped while I was ahead. When I’m in the thick of something and someone pops by to tell me to take the 20 years perspective, my reaction is generally, wow you should just f off…

This is the poem that follows that one. The first one is so raw and in the first moment, this is twenty years later.
