Yeah, those were definitely not designed for browsing multiple titles on the same “shelf.” But they do hold a lot of stock. Do you ever buy old mm in sleeves?

What an amazing experience and keepsake! She spoke at Loyola when I was an undergrad. I may have blown off a class to attend her talk and it was well worth it. I remember she read/recited We Real Cool.

So sorry. It’s the worst. Had it last year and was never so sick. Take good care.

Fascinating that it’s a guy’s name. And I had no idea about the various German chocolate cakes. My family wasn’t into pastries so it’s something I’m just starting to explore more. To be clear: explore as an eater of, not a baker.

I miss living with cats, so I always love to see cat pics. Hello, Lily and Mr. T. 😻 What does the T stand for?

How unique! At first glance, I thought it was photoshopped. I looked at their range, and they are not here in Connecticut.

Nice to see so many Cather fans! If anyone is interested, @colleencolleenme.bsky.social has wrangled a group of us who are reading all 12 of Cather’s novels this year, one a month. The group is on Instagram with a monthly zoom discussion. O Pioneers! in February. Drop-ins for specific books welcome.

I'm reading The Tennant of Wildfell Hall by Anne for the first time and the beginning felt a bit like Jane Austen but then it took a turn towards Emily's Wuthering Heights. 🫣

There's also an annual marathon at Melville's Arrowhead in Pittsfield, Mass. Anyone planning to attend that one in 2025?

Thank you for the add and name complement. We had a fun time coming up with it.
