Perhaps but not most. Huge bases in Europe, Gulf, S. Korea.

I guarantee South Korea wants us there.

Do you all think these governments don’t want us there? Geez Louise guys this convo is dumb, The Sunni gulf states are a target of Iran. They are happy to have a base there and the US benefits. We don’t need the Italian navy or Chilean army.

Yes but at bottom a very weak person
He won’t show up at Dover
His one and only trip to see troops in a war zone totally freaked him out.
He was afraid of a highly trained military dog(while Pence scratched pup’s head).
So I thought reversion to Mexican sandwich in the end

Gonna add that gulf state projects also have big influence.

Well let’s hope the aims were achieved and there’s nothing beyond telegraphed Qatar strikes. Heaven knows he didn’t do project warp speed bec he cares about public health. And then undermined it. But it saved countless lives. So even if he had such motives if it worked & ends, that’s good. big IFs.

Actually I was surprised Mexican food Nick name guy did it. I hope it was successful and there is no escalation. As for Israel, the current regime has been threatening its destruction for decades so one can kind of understand that,no? As for your last phrase I think Moscow has far more influence

So jcpoa was just some game ?

If their ability to complete weapon development has been significantly degraded, that benefits the world. They are the leading sponsor of global terrorism (and also arm Putin). If there is no escalation other than the strike on the Qatar base, also good.

Go back to consumer product safety … you know something Dems have worked for for yrs

Oh honestly just go to wherever Jill is. You all are grifting off of attacking Dems. Maybe if you worked to elect KH we wouldn’t be in this spot,

Just like police officers they should be identifiable. For safety reasons to prevent impersonators and for accountability. Seems basic. They aren’t under cover in a classified op or a sting. They expect people to obey them in public so they should act accordingly.

They are indeed two peas in a pod. Russia already gets drones to kill Ukrainian civilians from Iran and Iran could get nuke material to threaten /take out whatever “infidel” (basically everyone other than Shiite Muslims) is in its sight so what’s the answer?
comment in response to
post
If they HAD nuclear weapons it would be too late. One can argue about how far along they were and whether they could be effectively be slowed down (again) but letting them get near weapons grade means a quick route to weapons, and no that should not be allowed to happen,

Well I’d think the satellite intel was tracking every move. I sure hope the nyt intel cite is not real bec they are talking to the nyt and well that usually isn’t a thing.

And the “colonialist expansion” is pretty over the top. Yea, settlements have gone too far. Agree. But Colonialist? 🙄 I’m
sorry but that’s ridiculous. Btw there are as many actual racial minorities in the Israeli Jewish community as there are in the Arab community. Zero to do with race.
comment in response to

Wrong. They are our ally, only Jewish homeland. It’s a democracy where women and lgbtq folks have rights and aren’t murdered. Free society. We support the Israeli people and always will.Yea the guy in charge is for sure an extremist holding onto power. Same thing we have here.
comment in response to

That’s disgusting.
comment in response to

Agree, but their government is a repressive theocracy that wants death to all infidels (all non Shiite Muslims) and sponsors terrorism against civilians and its own populace, Women and girls are oppressed and lgbtq folks murdered.
comment in response to

Excuse me? One candidate actually said he supported same.
FFS it’s a low bar in the race apparently but he managed to crawl under it. That freaking means one thing… death to infidels. Yea disqualifying in my book. Spinning as a term that means global struggle is utter BS

I would have like the jcpoa to stay in place. they got rolling again with purpose bec of T. We needed serious experienced negotiators and inspectors. Odds of getting that with this crew very low. So what to do? Let them get to 90%? No good options thx to this crew.

Nope. May not have finished enrichment. May not have attached to a delivery system. But their nuke weapon program was not fake. We certainly can agree that diplomacy preferred (by competent people). But this was not Cheney making up sh*t

(A)I find your post objectionable bec it’s no different than saying Soros controls Dems
&(b) T has made so much $ using his position he was willing to give his biggest donor the boot. I doubt he pays attn to donors. He’s got Arab gulf oil states (happy to hit Iran) backing his biz interests.

The “unprovoked war” phrase makes Iran sound like an innocent as if they + proxies never bombed Israel.he’s been trying to get someone to end their nukes program. Ditto SaudisThere were other ways to do it (jcpoa). T ripped it up, uranium enrichment did advance, & T negotiation team sadly sux.
comment in response to

Nothing fake about enriched uranium. Nothing fake that it was for bombs (that’s why it’s underground). T stupidly ripped up jcpoa which led to this. They had to be stopped, they were constant threat but we needed pros to negotiate not the C or D team…

I vaguely remember the frog song from Swedish school. The burning house one sounds fun lol! The teacher would always bring the strawberries and cream cake. Anything with lots of dill is great, evening herring smothered in it😁

Yes. but people can be dumb (or fail to supervise kids) or mean or criminal actually and will take a compliant dog. Keep your dog with you on leash unless you’re at a dog park. Pretty simple.
comment in response to

Jogging for your own exercise with dogs is dumb unless it’s a sled dog training thing(that’s for the dog). Most dogs don’t run continuously. And u have no control with those waist leashes. Not to mention in hot weather.
comment in response to

Agree w/the don’t tie your dog up outside a store part bec. it’s not safe for the dog.
As for the barking part, well dogs bark even when their owners are right there with them. 8 am at a cafe? Public plc.right? I got soccer coaches screaming 7 am - till 7 pm, but I chose to live next to a park.

not an article iii federal court to my knowledge. It’s an administrative immigration proceeding run by doj before an administrative law judge as far as I know. There’s a world of diff bet an alj who is in the exec branch & an article III judge and someone needs to get a case in front of one of those
comment in response to
post
The immigration judges should not docket and participate in fake deportation hearings. If the Govt moves to dismiss in what appears to be bad faith the judge should not do it without just cause. A problem may be that these are aljs who have been directed by dhs. Someone needs to bring Fed ct case
comment in response to
post
Sounds like these are deportation proceedings for individuals w/no pending asylum case. The govt brought the case in first instance but then decides it doesn’t need a deportation hearing and dismisses it and then removes the person. Seems sketchy if they r entitled to an actual deportation hearing.
comment in response to
post
If the former that is really improper and if aljs are in on it highly improper.
comment in response to

I assumed these were applicants were in immigration court. Fed crim prosecutors wouldn’t be involved to my knowledge. The q I have is are they being called in but not given any real hearing & having their applications summarily dismissed or is it mostly a normal process but now ice is in the hallway
comment in response to
post
So these are not asylum cases?
comment in response to
post
What is the nature of the proceedings after which folks r being grabbed? Are these full asylum hearings or just preliminary? Also these r ALJs, right? If they r full hearings, any insight re whether there are unusual rulings? IOW r the hrgs bad faith set ups or is enforcement just taking advantage?

If the nuke facility could be destroyed that would be a huge upside but there are unquestionably significant risks flowing from such an operation. Particularly with the current crew whose competency well… nuff said
comment in response to

But this is not exactly the same Senator. There is evidence from independent international sources on the status of the nuke program. While I agree that there are significant risks of involvement, the situations are not the same (ginned up intel from Cheney et al)+ nukes are a different category.

TC is on the side of Russia and since they are supportive of Iran as a helpful bad guy, he’ll go after the old hawks bec of that . Dude is not pro peace but pro bad guys.
No one should be deceived. As for your general sentiment tho yea lol
