Feel like streaming companies if they’re doing weekly drops (good!) should limit it to two at a time and nothing more. Three in one go seems weird.

Congrats, and great to see MLB Network get some love here. Turn on that channel and it’s either live baseball, or quality discussion of baseball. Rare in modern times for a lot of sports outlets.

Ah I remember you referencing this on Libero, will add it to the kindle.

I actually think there’s an argument that MLB don’t need to advertise the Tokyo series. It’s basically to help MLB in Japan and that market, people there will be aware it’s happening.
The tradition of everything else starting on Opening Day will be advertised as normal.

Wonder how much a factor the contract negations are here lol
If they weren’t on their last year, would Slot want to “squeeze” this level of game time out of them before they leave in the summer

There’s actually a bunch of articles written about this!
Basically it seems to have taken off after Covid. Some people blame AirPods. My take is it started as a Gen Z thing after Covid.

He was quite similar at Brighton too lol
The lethality and end product though can justify the rest on a good day

It’s just so beautiful and satisfying to see a simple evidence based policy like congestion pricing succeed like this. My fav part is the people who weren’t originally supportive and have to drive for their jobs, saying it actually helps them now with less traffic.

One controversy now with the nfl playoffs is the expanded wildcard round weekend that includes the 7th seed. Most of the games this weekend were one sided until Sunday night’s Commanders v Bucs. Hopefully tonight is good too though. I don’t really mind but it is a criticism.

What ultimately makes the NFL playoffs the strongest is no best of 7 games. It’s just one game. Thats the thrill of the big Divisional round weekend games and Championship Sunday. Like Bills v Ravens next Sunday will be elite.
But I wouldn’t want the other leagues to get rid of best of 7 that said.

Issues like immigration are why the political labels can be unhelpful.
Every “team” has stupid takes. All about finding the right balance. My take for the US is it’s fine to enforce border security, while also boosting legal immigration numbers in sectors where it’s needed like tech and finance.

Whereas conservative part is also varied. Theres unity on opposing illegal immigration and wanting strong border enforcement + deportations of criminals.
But on legal immigration, you see the sections of the coalition like Vivek, Musk and others who support more H1B visas entering Silicon Valley.

Bernie’s tweet on H1B visas yesterday suggests the immigration part isn’t true. Leftists have a tendency to be very flexible about illegal low wage immigration, but view high skilled legal immigration as a problem. Corbyn supported Brexit, opposing the EU’s freedom of movement. Bernie’s history.

Will Man Utd players also join Mazraoui in calling for a boycott of any gambling or alcohol sponsorships that Man Utd have? Or more likely, it’s just a case of one player weaponising their own religious extremism to block a solidarity campaign towards a vulnerable minority group.

I also created a general Ringer starter pack, including everyone I could find across the NBA, NFL and pop culture. (Again, if I've missed anyone, please let me know!)

This dynamic also destroyed Threads early on. People are overly traumatised from Twitter is my theory. Just relax guys it’ll be fine
