What living in exile means. The worst parts are fear & guilt. Fear, because I know I’m a target. Maybe not every second, maybe not right now - but the regime that forced me out hasn’t stopped watching. I’ve learnt to live with it. It’s not paranoia; paranoia distorts reality. Real fear sharpens it.
